Information About Selling your Machine
Thank
you for considering Secondwind CPAP for the sale of your used CPAP
or BIPAP machine. We are always in the market for clean, gently used,
low hour CPAP and BIPAP machines.
All machines purchased by
Secondwind CPAP from private parties must be in good working order. It
is absolutely essential that the machine come from a smoke-free
environment, and must be free of heavy odors such as
Patchouli Oil, or other heavy fragrances/perfumes; If there is any
question about this, please have a third party such as friend or
family member evaluate the smell of the device for odor neutrality.
Odors are impossible to remove from this type of
medical equipment. If there is even a hint of cigarette
smoke/perfume on these devices, they will be shipped back to you.
Our
Goal
It
is our goal to make the experience of selling your machine as hassle
free as possible. We realize that you want to sell your CPAP or
BIPAP fast, and have your cash in hand quickly,
without the inconvenience and delay involved with listing the device
in the newspaper, or hassle and delay that comes with an online auction.
Payment
Information
Our
methods of payment are electronic funds transfer via Paypal, or
Company Check. The method of payment is completely up
to you, the seller. We also are happy to reimburse $15.00 for standard
[FedEx or UPS] Ground transportation, as well as USPS Priority Mail.
If you prefer, we can arrange to have UPS pick the machine up at
your door at no cost to you.
Prior to contacting us about the
purchase of your machine, we ask that you have some basic
information about your machine available:

Approximate
Number of Hours
If
you do not know the number of hours, the approximate amount of time
the machine was used, i.e. 3 months full-time use, and if you acquired
the machine new.
Accessories
Included
Please
state the accessories that will be included with the machine such as
travel bag, unopened filters, etc.
Consider
Donation
If
we cannot make an offer on your device because of the physical age,
or number of hours on the machine, you might want to consider it for
donation. We work with clinics, hospitals, and doctor's offices across
the country to help provide, through donated materials, equipment
for those individuals that cannot afford to purchase this equipment
at any price. If you are a clinician, physician, or social worker
attempting to obtain this equipment for a patient in need, please
contact us.
