Returns and Refunds

 

How To Return An Item:

Your item must be in its original unused condition to be returned, unless there is a manufacturer defect. You must return the item within 15 days of receiving the product. Returns are accepted, provided the item has not been used/opened. New masks cannot be returned if opened.

1. Please email sales@secondwindcpap.com if you would like to return an item. We will not provide a prepaid label. If you would like to return your order, the shipping charge will be your responsibility. Returns are only accepted if verified with a customer representative prior to returning the product.

3. Include in your package a signed letter stating the reason for your return and the original receipt.

 

Restocking Fee:

All items are subject to a 15% restocking fee, this will be deducted from your refund. Shipping & handling charges are non-refundable.

 

PayPal Processing Fees:

If an order is placed using PayPal for payment, and the order is cancelled prior to shipment, the amount will be refunded less the processing fees. SecondWind CPAP does not receive a refund for processing fees even after transactions are refunded. The 15% restocking fee will not be applied.

 

Refunds: 

Refunds are processed within 3 business days of the items arrival. Refund processing can take up to 4 business days to be accepted and completed. After the Refund is complete, it will depend on which bank/credit union was used to place the order to show the refund has posted to your account. Once the refund is complete, there is nothing we can do to speed up your bank/credit unions processing to show the refund has posted to your account. 

 

International Orders: 

SecondWind CPAP will not reimburse any shipping charges assessed for International orders. It is also the responsibility of the international customer to understand all GST duties, fees, VAT taxes etc, associated with importing this type of equipment to your country.

 

If a unit becomes defective within the warranty time-frame, the customer is responsible to pay to ship the defective unit back and SecondWind CPAP will cover the shipping costs to ship a replacement unit to customer.

 

SecondWind CPAP reserves the right to refuse any returns or services due to abusive behavior/language to our employees. Should this occur, we will continue services required by law but will not sell any further products to said customer. 

 

As of July 2021, Standard Machines have No Warranty, Used Machines have a 6-Month Warranty, & New Machines have a 2-Year Warranty.

 

DME/Large Orders:

As we are a small medical store, SecondWind CPAP is not able to fulfill large orders for other DME’s. With the recall Philips released in June 2021, many manufacturers are on back order for parts causing there to be a hold on the manufacturing of machines. Limit is one machine per customer.

Our Philosophy

We are the only online CPAP retailer that provides support before, during and after the sale of quality used CPAP and used BIPAP machines. Buying a Used CPAP machine, or discounted new CPAP or BIPAP, should not mean the sacrifice of customer service and support. That’s our philosophy.
