The Quattro Full Face Mask parts are the headgear, cushion, mask frame, and quick-release elbow. the upper headgear attached with velcro. The lower straps attach to the hooks which are part of the mask frame. Flex-Wing Forehead Support The Quattro Air open-frame provides the support for the cushion. In addition, the overall design limits pressure points, and contact with the face. The soft silicone flex-wing forehead support provides amazing stability. It does so without the use of the traditional heavy, bulky t-piece forehead support. Spring Air Dual-Wall Design Cushion The patented Quattro Air Spring Air cushion is both lightweight and very flexible. The popular dual-wall design, used in many of the newer generation ResMed masks, is also used with the Quattro Air. The Dual Wall reduces pressure points, and provides a superior seal with a much greater level of comfort. As pressure increases in the mask during therapy, the cushion inflates to create a soft seal with your facial contours. SoftEdge Headgear Design The SoftEdge headgear is exclusive to the Quattro Air For Her Full Face Mask. The SoftEdge headgear is made from a silk-like textured material yet provides a comfortable, consistent seal. Designed for a loose fit, the mask is then given room to provide a consistent, even seal. As with so many of the ResMed headgears, once set, you can easily slip it on and off. This can be done without need to re-adjust the headgear. Set the proper fit, and you're set. The headgear for the Quattro Air For Her Full Face mask comes with a small size headgear (not standard size). It also has the option of the extra small mask size. It should be noted that the extra small mask insert will also work with the standard Quattro Air For Her Full Face mask. In other words, the frame for the Quattro Air can work with any size insert. The Quattro Air For Her Full Face Mask replacement inserts is also available for separate (individual) purchase as well on SecondwindCPAP. Quick Release Elbow Detachment & Circular Vent Design ResMed created the quick release elbow to help facilitate a quick removal of the mask from the tubing. This is often done if someone needs to use the bathroom in the middle of the night, or needs to untangle their tubing. The circular vent design makes the air diffusion ports whisper-quiet. At the same time, the air is directed away from the user, and their bed partner. *The Quattro Air for Her comes with a small size headgear which is pink and grey in color.
