AirCurve 11 VAuto BiLevel devices treat obstructive sleep apnea and help those who struggle to adhere to positive airway pressure therapy. The ResMed AirCurve 11 VAuto features Easy-Breathe waveform and algorithm. The VAuto continually monitors each individual’s breathing pattern on a breath-by-breath basis. The algorithm makes automatic adjustments to treat individuals effectively and comfortably.

Modes within the AirCurve 11 VAuto: CPAP, S, VAuto

Operating Pressure Range: 4-25cm H20

The algorithm makes automatic adjustments to treat patients effectively and comfortably throughout the night.

• AutoEPAP:
  • Min EPAP and Max IPAP set the pressure ranges in which the Auto algorithm can operate. This ensures the patients only receives the amount of pressure needed for optimal therapy.
• Pressure Support:
  • PS sets the difference between inspiratory and expiratory pressure.
• Cycle Sensitivity:
  • Default cycle sensitivity is appropriate for most individuals; however, trigger sensitivity can be adjusted if necessary.
• TiControls: 
  • TiControls are appropriate for most individuals; however, adjustments to the Ti min and Ti max are allowed per the individuals clinician.

Climate Control: Designed to make therapy more comfortable by constant temperature and maintaining humidity. Can be set to either Auto or Manual.

• Auto: Recommended and default settings. Adjusts to the humidifier output to maintain constant, comfortable humidity level.
• Manual: Offers more flexibility and control. Temperature and humidity can be adjusted to find the most comfortable setting.
• Rainout may occur.
  • Increase the tube temperature, if rainout still consists, decrease the humidity.
